Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Steve Hall | Hope Baptist Church | Fairfield, OH
Steve was born and raised in West Chester, Ohio. He attended Landmark Baptist Temple as a child and was saved just prior to his 8th birthday.

He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of Cincinnati. At age 22, shortly after finishing his Bachelor’s Degree, Steve married his wife, Debbie. For the next 25 years, he worked at Procter and Gamble, enjoyed serving the Lord alongside his wife in church ministry, and both were blessed with 3 beautiful children: Josh, Rachel and Abby. In October 2012, he retired from Procter and Gamble.

Steve’s Bible training and practical ministry experience came through the mentorship and training of the various pastors with which he has served over the past 30 years. Specifically, he credits his experience at Landmark Baptist Temple for teaching him the value of dedicated Christian service and Dr. Gail Terrell for teaching him doctrine and a love for God’s Word.

Prior to surrendering to the call to preach in 2012, Steve was a teacher of God’s Word for over 20 years. He served as a Youth Director for 10 years and served as the leader of Young Married couples for 11 years.

Hall Family | Hope Baptist Church | Fairfield, OH
In March 2012, he began a one-year internship under Pastor David Pitman at Addyston Baptist Church in preparation to be the founding pastor of Hope Baptist Church. He was ordained to preach the gospel and Hope Baptist Church was established as an independent Baptist church in February 2013 by Addyston Baptist Church.

Steve has a passion for the Lord, his family, and for verse-by-verse expositional teaching. He also has a desire to maintain the simplicity of the gospel with a focus on personal evangelism and discipleship.
